The Doodad Craft Guild (NC)

We are a guild of several craftspeople and artisans with a shared vision to create arts and crafts from recycled, upcycled, and locally sourced materials. We work in textiles, ceramics, jewelry, metal and wood. Our members scour local yard sales and thrift stores for materials. One of us owns 60 acres of forest, and a sawmill, harvesting only windfalls or similarly downed trees - this is the source for all of our woodcrafts. In our day jobs we are corporate managers, nurses, retirees, retail window and interior designers, and musicians. For fun and stress relief we become Doodad Craft Guild, and we try to make every place we go a little more fun, a little more carefree, and a little more thoughtful.
